About AJ Helms

AJ Helms is the pen name of an epic fantasy writer. She writes bright fantasy stories full of characters who are kind, empathetic and resilient even when they make terrible decisions.

Often, AJ can be found lurking near the coffeepot, obsessing over foxes and hoarding notebooks. When not writing she enjoys crafting her own jewelry and nature walks.

Born in the Arizona desert she traded dry air and mountains for the greenery and seasons of the American Midwest where she now resides surrounded by books, animals and of course, coffee.
